Custom made Roman Blinds are extremely versatile and suit any type of window and style of home. They are practical and economical as they use less fabric than curtains.
All of our custom Roman blinds are handmade to your bespoke requirements. and can be unlined, lined with blackout or interlined to give a more luxurious look and feel. You may also choose to enhance your blind by adding contrasting trims or boarders.
Each blind comes complete with fixtures and fittings as well as everything you'll need to make them child-friendly. Before placing an order we highly recommend getting a few fabric samples to check how they look and feel in your home!
We can then prepare an initial estimate, assuming £50/m for the fabric.
Your quote will then include:
- An in-person design and measurement appointment
- Making your bespoke Roman Blinds , complete with fixing hardware
- Installation service

Inside Recess

Outside Recess
Roman Blinds can be fitted inside or outside the window recess. The decision is mainly down to personal choice however, certain factors such as which way the window opens will need to be taken into account.
Some light will be lost as a blind fitted inside a window recess will stack at the top of the window but it creates a neater appearance with the blind being tucked away.

A Roman Blind fitted outside a window recess lets more light into a room and makes the window appear larger than it is. To create the illusion of height, the Blind is fitted close to the ceiling or coving.
There is less light leakage around the sides of the blind When fitted outside a recess.

Relaxed Roman Blind
A Relaxed Roman Blind is more informal and less structured than a standard Roman Blind. The centre of the blind has a soft dip as it is not held up by cords. These blinds are best made in lightweight fabric to give the ’relaxed’ look.
